Sandra Palmer, A.P.R.N.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Our advanced practice registered nurse is Sandra Palmer, A.P.R.N., who joined our practice in January, 2003. Ms. Palmer has worked at the UCONN Health Center for over 20 years and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from St.Joseph's College in West Hartford in 2000. In addition to caring for the generalized urology population of this practice, she specializes in treatment of interstitial cystitis and Urodynamic studies both for men and women. Her professionalism, concern and caring for patients is a wonderful compliment to our practice. (Learn more about APRNs)
Kathy Augeri
Practice manager
Kathy has been with the practice since January 2000. She came to our office with the merger of Dr. Weiss who has since retired. Kathy has been in urology for many years which includes a background in Medical Assisting, Billing & Coding as well as Practice management. In her spare time she enjoys Zumba classes, online MMORPG games and spending time with her family.
Amelia Hamilton
Medical Office specialist
Amelia has beev employed by the practice for over 8 years. She is a graduate of Goodwin College's Office Management Program. Amelia is our surgical coordinator in addition to handling many insurance issues, billing and appointment scheduling problems. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and sons in her free time.
Sharon Johnson
Medical Assistant
Sharon has been with the practice since January 2011. She brings into the office many years of urology assisting. She assists Dr. Zamstein with all urology procedures and is the "cheery face down the hall. Her exuberance and compassion is a wonderful addition to our team. In her spare time she enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Ilian Rivera
Medical Office Assistant
Ilian is the newest addition to our staff. She is bi-lingual in Spanish and will more than likely be the face that greets you when you arrive in our office. She is excited to learn the field of urology. Please join us in welcoming her to our urology team!
